Stop Counting, Start Living
Hi everyone, hope everyone is safe and healthy. The main objective of this blog is to attain clarity within myself and obtain a solution for the thoughts battling inside my mind. I took a pause and analysed my life for a week I could witness that most of my thoughts were irrelevant to my life and i was wasting my time. That led me into a depressed phase when I came to know i was not spending my time wisely. Spending time need not be always productive but it must be lively that's why we call it as present.
We are living our lives with lot of expectations without knowing how our reality would end up. I could witness this generation people with lots of ambitions, yeah it's good to lead your life with goals, but make sure its relevant to you and your mindset. Some people set goals just because they are pressurized to have one. We are pushed by this society to have a goal, to build a house, to buy a car,.....etc within certain age. These kind of situations make up our mind not to accept failures.I am not opposing goal setting here, all I wanted to say is do it only if you need it. Let's have fun, instead of running behind something let's take a pause and live our life.
At times I feel grateful for being a 90's kid, just because I atleast had my childhood to cherish which was calm and peaceful to look back. Some parents of our generation were strict though they taught us how to handle failures. Moreover the biggest kind of education they wanted their child to learn was being disciplined. Nowadays i could witness most of the parents want their children to succeed no matter what the path they choose.
Back then we had lot of games to play and explore in which few related with brain activity but nowadays we are trapped in mobile phone. Whether you like it or not your presence is mandatory at times. We live in a society where an one year kid getting injured is just a content with some thousands views. Are we really living our lives? Am I the only one who thinks these generation youngsters are misguided?
We as a society has started normalising fake parenting techniques where a mother or father should not beat a child at any cost. I personally feel that there is love in those strictness too, how many of you have experienced mother or father after beating a child buys his/her favourite food. I am not here normalising child abuse but certain amount of strictness is always needed. I could see most of the children normalising a biker who rides so fast and they also end up being is follower, when I see those people only question that arises is Are we really bringing up citizens to form a good society? Imagine each and every kid riding their bikes the same way how many loses will be there due to accident.
I am proud to say back those days, our inspirations were persons who excelled in their respective fields but nowadays it's not like that. I personally feel whole society is being misguided by some YouTube channels and social media. Let's normalise being disciplined as a necessity even though people term it with the word "Boomer". By the way this blog came just out of intolerance, basically people around me knew that I am not a person who used to register my opinions. Planning to write a blog on discipline if you want me to write that please do leave it in the comments section below.
Do write a blog on discipline from my point of view even i feel that’s lacking in today’s world
