The Misguided moral
Are you a kid or an adult who usually analyzes the progress in life just by comparing with your adjacent mates? If yes this blog is for us , yes i am one of that kind. Before getting into the blog give me five!
Have you ever wondered how did this kind of practice to analyze evolved into us? if not ,let me explain. After pondering i came to a conclusion, and was bit shocked to know where it all started and even more excited to share this with you in this blog. We all have read or been taught the story of "The tortoise and the hare", their lies the answer for these kind of practices.
Life is more like a race but the only difference is everybody has their own destiny and you are the only runner. Some of you have been happy when you have got highest mark in your gang and sad when you have got lowest mark in your gang, the problem is, you have shruken your progress just within a small circle which will not help you to unleash your true potential.
Coming back to my perspective on the misguided moral of the story "The tortoise and the hare", we all have read that moral of this story as "Slow and steady wins the race", but literally whether you are slow or fast that is not important, self belief to achieve something is more important. In my point of view, the most prominent moral that should be infused is "Focus and persistence wins the race". Let me explain why, the mistake in the rabbit's side is, it was more like us, comparing it's potential with the tortoise, it lost the race but whereas in the tortoise case, it belived that it could reach the destiny without comparing it's potential with the rabbit and won the race. From this, it is evident that one who believes in themselves will reach great heights.
Everyone has their own finishing point and their own lap work accordingly. Whether you have the potential of a rabbit or a tortoise that doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is self belief. Focus on your strengths without comparing it with others, don't gander on other's lap. Be a champ, unleash your true potential and reach your destination once again I would like to mention your own destination!
"Focus and persistence wins the race" ~Me (as of now, just kidding)
